Jon partners with clients to gain clarity around leadership capabilities, goals, and improvement opportunities which helps them fully guide their people in turning untapped business potential into reality. Jon actively listens to owners and leaders in addressing blind spots, empowering them to formulate and attempt creative solutions which accelerate profitability and give them the time off they deserve.
Prior to joining FocalPoint, Jon was the Vice President of Marketing & Product Planning at Emerson Electric Co, a manufacturer of leading technology products and provider of engineering services for industrial, commercial, and consumer markets. At Emerson, Jon transformed the business and culture by introducing customer value, satisfaction, and collaboration measurements to re-shape his business’s continuous improvement strategy. He also enabled effective communications across technical/operations and joint product innovation teams to collaborate successfully on new product development speed, material cost reductions, and global supply chain service level improvements. A graduate of Ohio State University and Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management, Jon is a passionate podcast consumer, especially in behavioral psychology/economics, which he listens to during his daily walking routine. He’s a big wine nerd – a long-time student, enthusiast, teacher, and collector - there’s not much he enjoys more than sharing and learning about wine with other people.
